Welcome bonus: your first deposit with eyes open
A welcome bonus is the offer attached to a new player account, usually to the first deposit. It is the most visible promotion and, for that reason, the one most often accepted without reading. At Doxxbet as anywhere else, the percentage, the ceiling and the conditions are set by the operator and can change. What follows is a way to judge the offer at the moment it is in front of you.
Go to the offerWhat a welcome bonus usually looks like
- A percentage of the first deposit up to a ceiling, for example “100% up to €100”.
- Sometimes a batch of free spins on top, credited at once or in daily portions.
- A minimum deposit from which the offer activates.
- Wagering, a deadline and a maximum bet, as with any bonus.
Same banner, two very different offers
Illustrative example, not a Doxxbet term. Both offers promise “100% up to €100” and you deposit €50.
| Parameter | Offer A | Offer B |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus credited | €50 | €50 |
| Wagering base | bonus | deposit + bonus |
| Multiplier | 25x | 25x |
| Turnover required | €1,250 | €2,500 |
| Deadline | 30 days | 7 days |
The banner is identical; the effort differs roughly eightfold once you count the shorter deadline — twice the turnover in under a quarter of the time. That is why, with a welcome bonus, the line about the base and the line about the deadline deserve more attention than the percentage.
Minimum deposit and payment method
Some offers only activate above a certain deposit or only through certain payment methods. Deposit less, or through an excluded method, and the bonus is simply not credited — and it is rarely added later. Which methods the cashier shows and with which limits depends on your account; look in the cashier before you pay. An overview of methods is in our payments section.
When to start without the bonus
If you want to see how withdrawals work first, if you mainly play table or live games that do not count towards wagering, or if you plan small deposits and like to cash out a win at once, skipping the welcome bonus is sensible. A first deposit without a bonus shows you the identity check and the payout process with no strings attached. Whether you can still claim the welcome offer later depends on the terms — it is often tied strictly to the first deposit.
Welcome packages in parts
Some welcome offers are spread over the second and third deposit as well. Each part then carries its own wagering and deadline, and these can overlap. If the first part is still active when you make a second deposit, find out whether the bonuses are added together or whether the new one waits until the old one is finished. Repeated offers are covered in our reload bonus guide.
