Registration: the account, the checks and the bonus choice
Opening an account is quick, but three decisions made in those minutes affect everything after: the data you enter, whether you accept a bonus, and which limits you set. This page walks through registration at operators such as Doxxbet, with the requirements of Slovakia's Gambling Act for readers there. The exact form and steps are defined by the operator's site.
Go to the offerRegistration in five steps
- Open the operator's site on its licensed domain and choose to register.
- Enter your personal details exactly as on your identity document.
- Create login details and confirm your e-mail or phone.
- Decide on the welcome bonus — opt in or leave it unticked.
- Set your monthly limits before the first deposit.
The data Slovak law expects
Under Act No. 30/2019, taking part in an online game requires registration and a player account. At registration the operator records your name and surname, your birth number or date of birth, your permanent address or residence permit, and your nationality. Only one player account per operator is allowed. You must be at least 18.
Identity verification
The law refers to data from an identity document and a further document; copies are sent by the player to the operator. Which documents the operator accepts is stated in its own instructions — follow them rather than guessing. Verify straight after registering: an unverified account is the most common reason a first withdrawal waits.
The welcome bonus at sign-up
Many sign-up forms include a promo code field or an opt-in box. Decide here, with the terms open. Illustrative example, not a Doxxbet term. Opting in to “100% up to €100, 30x deposit plus bonus” on a €50 deposit means €3,000 of turnover before the bonus can be withdrawn. If that is more than you would normally stake, leave it unticked. Our welcome bonus guide covers the details.
Declining is a valid choice
You lose nothing by starting without a bonus except the bonus itself, and you gain freedom: no maximum bet, no excluded games, withdrawals whenever account rules allow. Whether the welcome offer can still be claimed later depends on its terms — often it cannot.
Registering on a phone
Mobile registration works the same way. Photograph documents in good light, with all corners visible, and upload them through the operator's own site or app. Avoid sending documents through chat apps or e-mail addresses you have not confirmed on the operator's site.
Logging in: what you will see
Slovak rules require licensed operators to check every login against the self-exclusion register (RVO) and to show, for at least five seconds, the warnings that gambling is forbidden under 18 and carries a risk of serious financial loss, with your monthly and total stakes and winnings and links to the help line and the RVO form. If you never see these notices, that is worth noting.
Common problems
- “Account already exists” — you may have registered before; recover that account rather than opening a second one.
- Verification rejected — usually an unreadable photo or a name that differs from the document.
- Login blocked — a self-exclusion entry in RVO prevents login at licensed operators by design.
When to contact support
If the form rejects your details, a promised bonus does not appear, or verification stalls, write to support with screenshots and keep the reply. How to reach support and what to ask is on our support page; limits and help are on the responsible gambling page.
